Does fate exist?

I genuinely do not beleive in fate, and things like destiny as people express it. Meaning, that if the fate or destiny of two lovers is to be together, then they will always be together. I have no reason behind my belief... call it a gut feeling. But I also beleive that some things happen for a reason. With this I mean, some oportunities are awaken after some unpredictable event happends that do not make sense at all. I do not know if I am explaining myself correctly, but I refer to somethings like the butterfly effect, that if a butterfly flaps its wings in an specific place in Tokio, a hurricane happens in Tennessee. This two event have nothing to do in common, but they happen for a reason, I am refering to the same idea when I am talking about fate and destiny. Things like when sometime you remember something at an specific time without relaising it and that you thought unuseful, but it ends up being a life saver. You get me?

Realmente no creo en el destino tal como las personas lo expresan. Refiriéndome a que si el destino de dos amantes es estar juntos, siempre estarán juntos. No tengo ninguna razón detrás de mi creencia... llámalo un presentimiento. Pero también creo que algunas cosas suceden por una razón. Con esto quiero decir, algunas oportunidades se despiertan después de que ocurre algún evento impredecible que no tiene ningún sentido. No sé si me estoy explicando correctamente, pero me refiero a cosas como el efecto mariposa, que si una mariposa bate sus alas en un lugar específico de Tokio, ocurre un huracán en Tennessee. Estos dos eventos no tienen nada que ver en común, pero pasan por una razón, me refiero a la misma idea cuando hablo del destino. Cosas como cuando en un determinado momento recuerdas algo sin relacionarlo y que te pareció inútil, pero termina salvándote la vida. ¿Me entendéis?
