Is beauty associated with morality?

In my opinion, if you were to ask me this a few years ago, I would have said that beauty tends to be indeed associated with morality , and that some people do not realise that they are "discriminating" against "ugly" people. I thought that when you see a girl or a boy that is beautiful or handsome, we tend to trust them more than someone that maybe is not as attractive. However, now, before I answer that question, another one arises in my mind that cannot be overlooked. What is "beauty"? Does it have to do with the fact that you may be 5 feet or 6 or 7 or 8?, is it related to your weight?, the colour of you hair, skin, eyes...? What is actually beauty?. I beleive beauty is an ambiguous term; 50 years ago the stereotypes for beauty were much different from current stereotypes. Not as far as 50 years ago, 5 years ago women that were very skiny were considered goddesses. Thankfully, in current society, women are no longer expected to have those bodies. Ergo, even if you are not as skiny you are still considered the most beautiful goddess of all. Overall, I currently beleive that "beauty" cannot be defined and therefore as a result, it cannot be associated with another term such as "morality".

En mi opinión, si me preguntaras esto hace unos años, habría dicho que la belleza tiende a estar asociada con la moralidad, y que algunas personas no se dan cuenta de que están "discriminando" en contra de las personas consideradas "feas". Pensé que cuando ves a una chica o un chico que es atractivo o atractiva, tendemos a confiar en ellos más que en alguien que tal vez no es tan atractivo. Sin embargo, ahora, antes de responder a esa pregunta, surge en mi mente otra muy distinta que no puede pasarse por alto. Que es la "belleza"? ¿Tiene que ver con el hecho de que puedes medir 1,50, 1,70 o 1,90 ?, ¿está relacionado con tu peso?, ¿el color de tu cabello, piel, ojos ...? ¿Qué es realmente la belleza? Creo que belleza es un término ambiguo; hace 50 años, los estereotipos de belleza eran muy distintos a los estereotipos actuales. No tan lejos como hace 50 años, hace 5 años, las mujeres que eran muy delgadas se consideraban una diosa. Afortunadamente, en la sociedad actual, ya no se espera que las mujeres tengan esos cuerpos. Ergo, incluso si no eres tan delgada, todavía eres considerada la diosa más bella de todas. En general, actualmente creo que "belleza" no se puede definir y, por lo tanto, no se puede asociar con otro término como "moralidad".
