This is a well discussed topic between both scientists and philosophers. I beleive the most plausible argument would be the one that says that it is very likely for extraterrestrial life to exist. There are 2 billion galaxies that we know of.... who could think that life does not exist in any of those 2 billion galaxies. However, I beleive that this kind of life does not look like the way Steven Spielberg and Universal studios has portrayed it through out generations. I beleive this type of life would be microorganisms that are yet ot experience the processes of evolution the animals inhabiting the earth have.
PS: I am sorry for not updating the past few weeks, I have been on holidays and there were not signal for me to upload the questions. Therefore I am posting today a 4 question update, hope you like them.

When I was a child I read a book about flying saucers (UFOs), the idea that there was intelligent life beyond our planet was magnificent, and the fact that we were visited secretly, at night, and that it was a civilization technologically superior to ours made it the perfect cocktail to be an engaging story for everyone. It is true that this nice vision of the subject, seems far from reality. We are not sure to have all the perception of all the world around us, and perhaps it is a question of limitation in our senses, and the way to approach scientifically an exploration that hardly seems to be in the beginning of an immense project. Considering the human…
