What is the difference between "art" and "not art"?

I beleive the difference comes from something rather "abstract" and a concept repeatedly discussed in the history of society. That is the concept of "feelings". A painting made by Van Gogh is not art because he is famous, but because of the feelings we have when watching one of his paintings; how each colour has been chosen especially for the viewer to feel a certain way, how each line is traced to revealed a known figure, or an abstract one, how the painter is able to express her/ hiself without the need to use direct words. That example can be transfered to other ways of art, such as music, literature, poety, dance... That leads to people's consideration of art changing constantly, and it also shows how art is not art because of how well a painter, a musician, a writer, a poet or a dancer is able to perform, but how well he/she is able to express itself though this.

Creo que la diferencia proviene de algo bastante "abstracto" y un concepto discutido repetidamente en la historia de la sociedad. Ese es el concepto de "sentimientos". Un cuadro hecho por Van Gogh no es arte porque el pintor sea famoso, sino por los sentimientos que sentimos al ver una de sus pinturas; cómo se ha elegido cada color especialmente para que el espectador sienta ciertos sentimientos, cómo se traza cada línea para revelar una figura conocida, o una abstracta, cómo el pintor puede expresarse sin la necesidad de usar palabras directas. Ese ejemplo puede transferirse a otras formas de arte, como la música, la literatura, la poesía, la danza ... Este hecho lleva a que las personas consideren que el arte cambia constantemente, y también muestra cómo el arte no es arte por lo bien que un pintor, un músico, un escritor, un poeta o un bailarín es capaz de actuar, pero qué bien él / ella es capaz de expresarse a través de esto.
